Heroes of Newerth by S2 Games

custom maps for Blizzard's Warcraft III, also known as a defense of the Ancients, or DotA for short, has changed the face of online gaming since it was first created nearly ten years ago. It has grown steadily in popularity since then, and has spawned a whole new genre of games, known to some as a hero in real time based strategy (HBRTS) games. While DotA has only ever been under Warcraft III engine, many companies have decided the game for driving the popularity of the genre and putting a stand alone game. However, the name on the lips of all currently Newerth Heroes, designed by S2 Games.

Heroes of Old Newerth and defense are, for all intensive purposes, the same game. Heroes both games are virtually identical, as are items and upgrades the appearance of the default maps, including the head of the creature, Roshan. However, due to the ability to program your engine for the game, S2 were able to improve the gameplay in Heroes of Newerth to a degree not possible with the Warcraft III engine, and, as such, Heroes of Newerth stands above the remains great grandfather . Newerth Heroes mechanics allow players to play in a more improved and a balanced environment that values individual teamwork over individual skill and / or plain luck.

Players are classified different heroes in both games or worn (usually an extremely powerful late game and can change the tide of the match), tanks (can take a lot of damage before dying), disablers (they have abilities that can be quiet, faint or make other heroes powerless) and support (they have skills that can buff your teammates to make them stronger ).

Some of my favorite heroes in Heroes of Newerth are:

(1) Chronos (also known as the faceless void in DotA) is absolutely unstoppable late game carry hero.
(2) creep (also known as Venomancer in DotA) is very versatile support hero / damage for the second hero.
(3) Witch Slayer (also known as the lion in DotA) firmly prevent the hero, who is a very powerful nuke attack.
(4) Predator (hybrid version of DotA has Naix) amazing late game carry hero / tank.
(5) Puppet Master (brand new hero) a new addition to the game, the hero of a solid deal.
(6) A fool (brand new hero) Another new addition to the game, which is a major disabler / damage for the second hero.
(7) Storm (also known as Enigma in DotA) is the most effective means to disable / support hero in the game.
(8) Scout (a hybrid version of the DotA Dwarven Sniper and Bounty Hunter) is very powerful late game hero with a big hero vs. hero kills abilites.
(9) curse (also known as the Lord of Avernus DotA) is very strong container that has many uses as a support hero.
(10) pebbles (known as DotA Tiny) Another very strong container, which can be used as a support hero.

If you're a fan of DotA and the genre that has spawned, why not check out Heroes Newerth by S2 Games. You will not be disappointed!
